Gingival manifestation of Crohn’s disease in a paediatric patient: A case report

Crohn's disease (CD) is a complex multisystemic inflammatory disorder and part of the bowel diseases (IBDs). About 20% subjects affected by IBDs are paediatric patients 21% them present extraintestinal manifestations. Among manifestations CD, oral rather frequent (20–50% people) can be difficult to identify, being frequently aspecific not pathognomonic. Their early diagnosis dentist extremely important, because precede intestinal symptoms, in all but especially children. The aim this paper report case CD adolescent patient that presented gingival manifestation.
